The Monete Ring is a design piece created from what is most human—but not necessarily natural: symbols of value and exchange that, over time, have left irrevocable marks and intersections in the relationship between man and nature, making us different from nature.
Its raw approach suggests a manifesto beyond man over nature, but rather nature acting upon the frivolous and hollow objects of the human world. The surface alternates between polish and wear, creating a relief that conveys the rawness of time transformed into design.
