Onze is a studio defined by constant experimentation.

Rooted in jewelry design, we explore the shapes, materials, and objects that shape how we express ourselves and relate to the body. This new edition expands that universe beyond jewelry, investigating the belt as an object, an accessory, and a structural element of dressing.

Two distinct forms, born from the same desire to experiment: proposing new silhouettes and reinterpreting everyday objects through the Onze lens.

WEARABLE OBJECT 02

LEATHER / SILVER

A contemporary reinterpretation of the *guaiaca*, transforming a traditional object into a piece of design and expression.

The belt is built upon a wide base that wraps around the waist, featuring layered leather—including flaps, pockets, and superimposed elements—to create an asymmetrical composition.

While the reference to the *guaiaca* is evident in its relationship to the body and its function of carrying objects, the design shifts toward a more sculptural, contemporary aesthetic. Varied volumes, cutouts, and metallic details transform the piece into an object that sits somewhere between the utilitarian and the ornamental.
